High condition Colt National Match .38 Special Mid Range pistol made in 1971 with patridge front sight and Elliason fully adjustable rear target sight. Left side of slide referencing National Match and the caliber. Colt address in Hartford on right side of the slide. Third variation barrel with MK III notation over chamber. Serial number on right side of frame. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medalions. Correct factory magazine referencing Colt and Caliber on floorplate.
Condition:
98-99% with the most minor handling marks, mainy on top left crest of slide. Rear sight retaining pin has been shortened to not protrude as noticably on each side of the slide and hammer polished on either side. Crisp grips, virtually new. Comparable condition magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A beautiful Colt .38 midrange with just enough wear to take to the range!
