Description:

Standard configuration Colt Match Target, circa 1956-57, third series with a 6 inch barrel having ramped patridge front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Colt address and model on left side of barrel. Caliber on left side of slide. Serial number on right side of frame. Vertically serrated front and backstrap. Fitted with black plastic grips, partially checkered, the left panel having a shallow thumb rest. Second variation Colt magazine, with cutout for push button release, with a Colt marked floorplate.

Condition:

EXC with 99+% high polish blue. Negligible sharp edge wear and a few miniscule handling marks, as carefully photographed. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A classic Colt 22 from the late 1950s whose condition would grace any collection.
