Description:
Standard configuration 1915 Dated Artillery Luger with 8” barrel having a fine tune adjustable front sight and fine tune tangent rear sight marked 1-8. DWM on front toggle link. Full serial number on forward frame and left side of barrel extension with last two digits on all usual small parts to include left grip (right grip unnumbered) and non-matching magazine “953”. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, safety, and magazine release button. Checkered walnut grips and nickel bodied magazine. Complete with non-matching wooden shoulder stock numbered “7177b” and “GERMANY” stamped into the left side near the locking lever.
Condition:
VG original finish with holster wear, staining, and freckling as one might expect from an Artillery Luger that saw continued military use over 100 years ago. Comparable condition strawed parts, now dark stained, but showing no suggestion of touch up. Oil darkened grips with blunted checkering. VG Magazine with lightly stamped number on plug. Dull bore with shallow rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the most desirable Artillery Luger Pistols!
