Exceeding Scarce Armand Gavage, German Military Pistol, 3525, FB01191
Description:
Extraordinary, high original condition Armand Gavage Pocket Pistol, caliber 7.65mm, as issued to the German Military during WWII. A standard configuration pistol with 3 inch barrel whose recoil system was very similar to the FN1900 in having a separate recoil spring in a tube above the barrel. Fixed front and notched rear sight. Single action blowback, having a dismounting lever on the left side of the frame and a separate safety lever at rear. Right side of the barrel, slide, and frame with Waffenamt acceptances. Full serial number 3525 at rear. Fitted with hard rubber panels having encircled A/G over a finely checkered bordered field. Bottom magazine release, the unmarked magazine having 6 indicator holes and a fixed enclosed floorplate. Sold with an unmarked Police style leather holster that is clearly to big for the pistol.
Condition:
EXC with about 98% bright original blue, the trigger retaining most of its nickled plating. Comparable condition hard rubber grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Holster is in good condition with oil soaked leather. One of the scarcest Nazi issue pistols, seldom offered at any price, this example in extraordinary condition!
