Description:
Standard configuration Model 1910 Fabrica Nacional De Armas Mexican Mauser Carbine (cal: 8mm Mauser) with drift adjustable inverted ‘V’ front sight and combination ladder mount rear sight graded 4-14. Four digit SN on left of receiver. “Fabrica Nacional De Armas-MEXICO D.E-”/Mexico’s Crest/1930 on top of the receiver ring. Reworked beech stock with straight wrist configuration and flat steel buttplate. Cleaning rod not present. The Model 1910 was produced from 1910-1934 at the government arsenal. Although approximately 40,000 total rifles/carbines manufactured, the number of carbines made was low, survival even lower, making this a rare find for the collector of Mauser action military rifles.
Condition:
VG as reworked. The metal parts have all been reworked and re-dipped. In-the-white bolt has been polished. Unmarked beech stock is likely a replacement. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. A very scarce rifle under any circumstance.
