Scarce FN 24/30 Belgium Army, .22 Single Shot Trainer Rifle, with matching receiver, stock and bolt. Arsenal refurbished with a grey/green finish and reworked stock. Receiver with bold Crown/B/ABL/1952. FN markings on left side of receiver; arsenal rework (58) and serial number on right side of receiver with the three digit SN repeated on the right side of the stock and bolt handle. Faintly discernable FN marking on bottom of stock just ahead of floorplate. Fitted with paired sling swivels and metal serrated buttplate.
Condition:
EXC as arsenal refurbished, the original rear sight loosely secured with two replacement screws. Comparable condition stock. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An extremely scarce Military Trainer Rifle whose production has been estimated at 1000-2000 rifles depending on source.
