Standard configuration Browning GP Competition as made in 1987 for target shooting. 9mmP. Modifications over the standard Hi Power include an extended 6” barrel milled at the muzzle for a counterweight secured by a pair of Allenhead screws and a serrated barrel bushing, a fully adjustable rear sight, factory supplied Pachmayr Signature grips, a factory lightened trigger pull, and a magazine with a spring powered release now plugged to 9 round capacity. Left side of slide is marked with the late single “BAC” address. The right slide references the manufacturer. The barrel hood is marked with the caliber and full serial number that is repeated in a stacked fashion on the slide and frame. Major components are matte finished. Most of the smaller parts are brightly polished and blued. No attache case or literature.
