Description:
This is one of the earliest N*zi High Power Tangent Sight Pistols to be marked with the WaA613 code, whose features include a tangent rear sight, non-slotted frame and an unmarked pre-war Belgian Army type magazine. Usual three-line address on left side of slide and stacked matching numbers on the right side of pistol. WaA613 acceptances in usual locations with Waffenamt on exposed barrel hood. Checkered/bordered wood grips with reddish-orange inner surface. Era correct unmarked magazine with aluminum follower, phosphate body and blued split tail floorplate.
Condition:
VG bright original rust blue finish with patchy areas of wear and thinning, as consistent with a service weapon that has seen moderate use. Dark oiled grips with light scattered handling marks, especially the right panel. Comparable condition magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. An early and very collectable FN High Power Pistol from WWII, increasingly difficult to find.
