Extremely late war WWII FN High Power as made under German occupation with stacked, incomplete serial numbers, WaA140 code, unmarked magazine and supple chocolate brown holster dated 44. The pistol is a standard configuration High Power with 5” barrel, fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Left side of slide marked with three line FN legend with reference to Browning’s patent. Full serial number on right side of slide with last three digits and letter suffix on exposed barrel hood and frame. Usual German acceptance markings and no magazine safety. Fitted with wood/bordered checkered grips. Magazine with blued body, aluminum follower and split tail floorplate. Complete with dark brown holster with clg 44 manufacturer coding and date. High capacity magazine will not sell to restricted states.
Condition:
VG/EXC original thinning blue over rough milling as typical for the latest production guns, this example with sharp edge/light holster wear as carefully imaged. Grips in comparable condition, the left panel recessed for a non existent lanyard ring. Near EXC magazine. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster with the usual thinning and scuffs. An extremely attractive late war FN High Power with all the classic features as used by the German Military with a military holster. High capacity magazine will not sell to restricted states.
