Description:
Standard configuration FN M1930, Venezuelan Contract Rifle, chambered in 7mm Mauser, with drift adjustable inverted ‘V’ front sight and tangent rear sight graded 2-20. Top of the in-the-white receiver marked with large Venezuelan crest. On the left of the receiver ring are Belgian proofs followed by a two-line FN address. On the right side of the receiver ring and adjacent stock is the full SN, repeated on the bolt handle. Nicely grained walnut stock with sharp Rondel behind the trigger guard. Smooth in-the-white metal buttplate. Unmarked in-the-white cleaning rod and unmarked muzzle cap.
Condition:
VG/EXE with blued components and fired blued components retaining nearly all their original finish. Stock with a few superficial handling dings in keeping with a stored but unissued rifle, the only exceptions related to an enlarged recess behind the trigger guard that extends into the top of the adjacent Rondel and the more prominent dings and scuffs on the lower spine of the stock between the sling swivel and buttplate. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. A gorgeous military contract bolt action rifle made by FN made with a nice mix of in-the-white, blued, and fire blued parts!
