German Erfurt Military Luger from WWI dated 1917 with original matching magazine
Description:
Standard configuration Erfurt Luger from WW1, made 1917, with drift adjustable front sight, and V notch rear sight. Chamber dated 1917 with Crown/ERFURT on middle toggle link. Usual proofs on right side of barrel extension. Complete with small crown/RC rework notation. Full serial number with letter suffix on forward frame, the serial number repeated under barrel and left side of barrel extension. Last two digits on all the usual small parts, including the firing pin, both grips, and the original magazine plug.
Condition:
VG/EXC as partially reworked, likely by the factory as reflected by the Crown/RC marking above the usual proofs on the right side of the receiver. Several of the small parts have had their straw enhanced, specifically the trigger and safety lever. Oil stained grips with deep checkering, no discernible splits or losses. Near excellent magazine with easily discernible numeration and markings on plugs. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A very nice, no excuse and all matching Erfurt Luger from late WWI!
