Description:

This spectacular Early Production High Polish Swiss Military P49, 9mmP, all matching with its original hammer group that has no half cock. A single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release on the front of trigger guard web. Disassembly shows a matching original hammer group without half cock. Fitted with crisp serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring.

Condition:

Crisp 98-99% bright original blue with negligible sharp edge wear in usual areas as one might expect from a Military pistol having seen very light use. Comparable condition small parts and grips. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An absolutely wonderful High Polish SIG P49 that would be difficult to upgrade short of mating it to a correct holster with spare magazine.
