This nickel plated five-shot revolver, cal. .38 RF, has a 3.6″ barrel with a fixed front sight and notched rear sight. The shallow rib is marked with the manufacturer address, patent, and “SMOOT” reference. Spur hammer and trigger with birds-head grip having dark brown gutta percha checkered panels. ANTIQUE!
Condition:
VG/EXC, still with most of the original factory nickel. Sharp edge wear and small areas of scattered flaking as carefully imaged, most noticeable on the cylinder. Comparable condition grips. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics with each cylinder locking into place upon full cocking. A very attractive and all original Remington SMOOT revolver whose antique status makes it even more desirable. ANTIQUE!
