Description:

Especially nice Walther P38, made in late 1942, all matching, with correct Walther accepted magazine. SN: 1880j. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration P38 with 5” barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Stacked address on the left side of slide that includes “ac” manufacturers code, the date “42” and the serial number. Safety positions marked with a white highlighted “S” and a red highlighted “F”. The right side of slide with the usual three acceptances. The full serial number is repeated on the left side of the frame, left side of slide under the plum tone barrel and on the locking block. Fitted with the correct dark brown grips and “P.38” Walther accepted Eagle/359 magazine.

Condition:

Excellent, bright original salt blue with minimal sharp edge and holster wear that one would expect from very light use. Comparable blue on the front strap. Crisp original grips. Same condition applies to the magazine. Mirror bore with strong rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A truly excellent German WWII P38 pistol that would grace any collection.
