Description:
High Standard Supermatic Citation target pistol, cal. .22LR, with 8” barrel, with integral muzzle brake and large flat base factory weight. Left side of barrel marked with caliber; right side of barrel with factory address in Hamden, Conn. Fitted with the slide marked HI-STANDARD on left, and Model 102 in association with the serial number on the right. Frame marked “SUPERMATIC/CITATION.” Color case hardened trigger. Slant grip with left sided thumb rest, each panel with the small eagle. Standard .22LR magazine with green follower, body marked for 5 and 10 cartridges, and floorplate marked “HI STANDARD.”
Condition:
EXC as custom polished to simulate a Trophy level “Super Blue.” Grips are era correct for a Trophy, the right panel having the bottom left corner professionally repaired and checkered to match. EXC original condition magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An excellent introductory level space gun, suitable for the range and with a lot of curb appeal.
