Standard configuration Husqvarna M40 Lahti Pistol with 4.5” barrel having a drift adjustable front sight and a fixed/notched rear sight. British proofing under the barrel as imaged. The left side of the barrel extension is marked by the manufacturer. Left side of frame with full serial number that is repeated on top of the bolt. Inspection “Crown/SS ”on the back of the frame. Fitted with brown plastic molded panels with the Husqvarna logo impressed with in a checkered bordered field. Blued magazine with an fixed unmarked floorplate.
Condition:
VG with the matte finish barrel contrasting the to the better polished barrel extension and frame. General wear pattern consistent with a pistol that has seen moderate use to include thinning of the straps. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. A Lahti pistol with an interesting history as underscored by the British proofing under the barrel.
