Standard configuration mid-production M1 Paratrooper Carbine, .30 Carbine cal. Barrel marked INLAND DIV./GENERAL MOTORS/6-44 with chamber marked U.S. CARBINE/CAL. 30 MI, the rear of receiver marked with the manufacturer and full SN. Features include a round blued bolt, ramp milled rear sight, low wood, early barrel without bayonet lug, original paratrooper folding stock whose butt is internally molded with the usual numbers. Pistol grip marked RIA on lower surface as consistent with its rework. Complete with “KSG” marked 20-round magazine.
Condition:
VG+ original blue and parkerizing with sharp edge wear and fading as one might expect from a firearm that saw moderate use, lower receiver around trigger guard faded with toning as imaged. Near EXC original hand guard. Stock and pistol grip are later replacements, the latter marked RIA. Folding shoulder stock and sling in the same overall VG+ condition. Near mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. A very attractive and correct Inland Carbine as restocked/reworked by RIA.
