French M1892 SA/DA Military Revolver, made by Mre D’Armes St. Etienne between 1892-1924 as replacement for the M1873, this example manufactured in 1922. Standard 4.5” barrel fitted with fixed front and rear sights. The model and manufacturing date on the top and upper right barrel flat respectively. Manufacturer marking and full serial number on the right side of the frame. Inspector markings in usual locations. Fitted with checkered walnut grips, broadly bordered, secured with a single screw. Lanyard ring on butt.
Condition:
G-VG original rust blue. Comparable condition straw with fading and oxidation as photographed. Grips with deep checkering, minimal losses, very light handling marks. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics.
