Scarce Mauser Banner Swedish Commercial Luger, 1940 chamber date, Cal: .30 Luger. Standard configuration Luger with 4” barrel having drift adjustable front sight and fixed “V” notch rear sight. 1940 chamber date, middle toggle link marked with Mauser Banner. Full serial number with letter suffix on front of frame with the serial number repeated under the barrel and on left side of receiver. Disassembly shows all matching numbers except wooden grips, the left panel marked with a large “70”. Haenel Schmeiser stainless steel extruded magazine with aluminum plug and police type markings: “2/2124/Eagle N.”
Condition:
Over 99% crisp salt blue with comparable condition strawed/fire blued small parts and grips. Exc Haenel Schmeiser magazine. Mirror bright bore with very sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A gorgeous looking 1940 Swedish Mauser Banner Luger in .30 caliber!
