The brass frame has a yellow-mustard color with shallow handling marks, the inspector initials on the left side well delineated. All serial numbers well defined. Grips are oil-stained, dark, with scattered handling marks and thinning of the cartouches. The cartouche on the left panel is legible, only the outline is visible on the right. Dull bore with easily discernible rifling. Correct manual mechanics, with each cylinder locking firmly into place. A nice and all matching U.S. military Colt 1851 Navy revolver. ANTIQUE.
