Description:
Original Soviet SVT-40 bayonet SN: 81700 with matching scabbard and associated leather frog. Salt blued steel blade with wide fuller and spear-point tip. The ricasso is marked with a 1944 production date. Edge remains well defined with no evidence of post-service sharpening. Several small Soviet inspection and acceptance marks are present on the blade and guard components. Wood grips are secured by two bolts. The matching metal scabbard retains its original leather frog assembly with brass stud and stitched belt hanger.
Condition:
VG-EXC original salt blued finish with crisp inspection markings. Comparable condition scabbard. Oil darkened frog with supple leather, intact stitching.
