Part of the refinish included removing most of the slide legend, leaving only “ CAL .45”. In this case, all parts matched to #80 except the sight bar #66, right grip panel #89, left grip is unnumbered, and the magazine #140.

An extremely interesting and historic Savage for less than half of what you would expect to pay for a comparable, original pistol.
