The model 1919 is a relatively scarce Sauer and Sohn pocket pistol, cal 6.35mm, made in three variations, this being a second variation pistol as found in the serial range 30200-43000. Standard configuration Sauer & Sohn 1919, with fixed front and rear sights. Top of slide is manufacturer marked with the left side marked “Patent” and the right side with the caliber. Full serial number on left frame that has been fitted with the improved safety. Crown/N proofing in usual locations. Black plastic grips with the S&S logo surrounded by a checkered bordered field. Original magazine with two oval windows on each side, caliber marking on the left side, and an unmarked fixed base.
Condition:
VG/EXC bright, original rust blue finish with holster wear in expected places. Crisp original grips. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the scarcer Sauer variations!
