This SIG SAUER M17 was one of the first 5000 pistols issued to the U.S. Military, later recalled, reviewed by SIG SAUER, then boxed with all original accessories before being resold commercially. As true for all of the recalled pistols, it is numbered in the TF00 serial range and has all the small cerokoted small parts. Other standard features include the highlighted night sights, red dot capability, and an interchangeable frame, this one designated M (medium). Complete as issued with two spare 21 shot magazines, spare recoil spring/guide, usual assorted literature, sticker, lock, and plug Included is a Freedom Of Information Act letter giving the complete history of this pistol showing issues to C Troop 1st Squadron, 2nd Calvary Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Matching box with clearly marked end labels.
Condition:
Near EXC original condition with sharp edge wear and scuffs consistent with a pistol that has seen minimal military use. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Spare magazines and literature in better condition. Near EXC box with matching and crisply marked labels. A wonderful opportunity to own a real U.S. Military small arm as issued to our troops.
