Description:
Standard configuration SIG P210-4, one of 5000 pistols in this police contract, with drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide is marked with the full serial number and the encircled SIG logo. The matching number and proof are on the left rail. Usual white highlighted S (safe) and red highlighted F (fire). Disassembly shows a matching barrel and hammer group. Slide, frame, safety lever, and magazine release are blued with the barrel, loaded indicator, hammer, trigger and slide release in the white. Black checkered grips secured with a single transverse screw, no lanyard ring as correct for this pistol. Unnumbered and unmarked magazine. Complete with matching numbered test target, dated 31 October 1969, shipping box. No spare magazine or holster.
Condition:
VG+ original finish, wear consistent with relatively light use, mostly on front-strap. Magazine and grips are in comparable condition. Bright bore sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A crisp, well marked, matching and dated test target. Comparable condition shipping box. A nice looking SIG P210-4 German Border Police pistol, unusual in having its original test target.
