Early High Polish Swiss Military P49 Pistol, all matching, original hammer group, complete with correct holster/strap.

Description:

Wonderful, high condition SIG P49, 9mmP, Swiss Military pistol, with high polish blue, and all matching parts. Pistol features 4.75” barrel, drift adjustable front and rear sight, and serrated slide release. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on left side of the trigger guard and discretely applied import marking on base of frame. Disassembly shows a matching hammer assembly without the later half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips, secured with a single transfer screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with single high polish magazine, and an early “51” dated holster with a “55” shoulder strap.

Condition:

EXC, 98+% original bright blue with light sharp edge wear. Crisp grips. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ tan holster and strap with intact stitching. An extremely attractive early production Swiss P49 Military pistol, with the original hammer assembly and correctly dated holster, an ensemble that should please any collector!
