Classic SIG P49 Swiss Military Pistol with Holster.

Description:

Attractive, all-matching, SIG P49, in 9mmP, with matte finish, 4.75” barrel, drift adjustable front and rear sight, and serrated slide release. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on left side of the trigger guard and discretely applied import marking on base of frame. Disassembly shows a matching hammer assembly with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, integral escutcheons, secured with a single transfer screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Single matte finish magazine. Leather military holster, dated “72”, earlier strap dated “58”.

Condition:

VG original condition with sharp edge wear around muzzle and forward frame as one would expect from a military pistol that has seen light/moderate use. Discoloration around small parts, particularly around trigger, as imaged. Crisp grips. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ tan holster and strap with intact stitching. A classic mid production Swiss P49 pistol with holster/strap, perfect for the range or in your collection.
