Description:
This SIG Sauer P220 125th Jahre Commemorative, 9mmP, made in Switzerland, has all the earliest features to include folded slide, white highlighted sights, and bottom magazine release. Left side of slide marked for the manufacturer and 125th year commemorative 1853-1978. Right side of the barrel is marked with the caliber. Right side of slide marked with the model, “MONTAGE SUISSE”, translates to assembled in Switzerland, and serial number JP714, this being the 714th Commemorative assembled. Swiss proofs BP proofs on the right side of the barrel and forward slide. Major components matte blued finish. Gold highlighting on left side of slide and gold plated hammer, slide release, decocker, and trigger. Laser carved grips. Correct SIG Sauer magazine with 8 indicator holes and zippered back. Pistol fitted in elaborate walnut presentation case with glass protected partition of pistol and commemorative plaque, earliest instruction booklet, correct key.
Condition:
The pistol presents as new. There are no thin areas, scratches, or scuffs on the top of the exposed barrel hood. The right grip has a tiny fleck of finish disturbance near the top. Magazine with light insertional wear. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Near excellent literature with minor oil staining. Comparable condition presentation case with a few superficial scuffs on the top of the lid.
