Soviet SVT-40 detachable box magazine with 10-round capacity for the 7.62×54R cartridge, Tula Arsenal manufacture as indicated by the star mark on the floorplate. The magazine body bears two earlier stamped serial numbers, “2745” and “6448,” both scratched out. Electro-penciled above is “AM1078.” Additional incidental stamp impressions and handling marks are also present. Flat removable floorplate.
Condition:
VG finish with oxidative patching and scuffing as one might expect from a service rifle in combat.
