Near New, Original, Smith & Wesson S&W Model 19-1, 4-Screw Blued Revolver, Boxed, circa 1961.

Description:

Smith & Wesson Model 19-1 Revolver, 4-screw assembly, cal .357 Magnum, four inch barrel, serrated ramp front sight, fully adjustable rear sight, target hammer and diamond target grips in an earlier blue/silver shipping box. Left side of the barrel marked “SMITH & WESSON”; right side is marked “S&W .357 MAGNUM”. Sideplate and frame marked with S&W logo and usual address. Full serial number and “MOD-19-1” marked on the left side of the inner frame along with assembly number ‘32238’on the inner crane. Major components salt blued with color case hardened trigger and hammer. Fitted with walnut checkered diamond target grips with football cutout and silvered S&W medallions. Complete with blue/silver shipping box with damaged end label as carefully imaged, bottom white wax penciled number to a different revolver. Rust inhibiting paper, warranty cards and dry fire target. No tools.

Condition:

EXC+, near new, bright original factory finish. Cylinder ring barely breaks finish. Very light cartridge head imprint around firing pin on recoil shield. No discernible wear on grip straps or grips. A gorgeous S&W M19-1, 4-screw, Combat Magnum revolver with box from Circa 1961!
