The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release on the left side of trigger guard. Disassembly shows a matching, original hammer group with no half cock. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with two high-polished magazines and a correctly dated “51” Swiss military holster, having battle ready stud, with a commercial strap.

Near excellent original salt blue with holster wear as expected from a pistol that has seen light field use. No suggestion of touch-up. Comparable condition grips. Primary magazine has correct high-polish. Reserve magazine later era with purpled discoloration from thin blue salts. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster and strap, both with scattered scuffs and staining as photographed, nicely manufacturer marked and dated. An attractive high polish Swiss military P49, with its matching, original hammer group, spare magazine and issue dated holster with replacement strap.
