Walther P38, made in 1945, all matching, with era correct Spreewerke magazine. SN: 1986. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration P38 with 5” barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Single line address on the left side of slide that includes “ac” manufacturers code, the date “45” and the serial number. Safety positions marked with a white highlighted “S” and a red highlighted “F”. The right side of slide with the usual three acceptances. The full serial number is repeated on the left side of the frame, left side of slide, under the barrel and on the locking block. Fitted with the correct dark brown grips and Spreewerke supplied JVD coded magazine with E/WaA706 acceptance.
Condition:
Excellent, bright original salt blue with sharp edge and holster wear that one would expect from light use. Comparable blue on the front strap. Crisp original grips. Same condition applies to the magazine. Bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An excellent and very late German WWII pistol that would grace any collection.
