Scarce and desirable Walther PPK, Police Eagle/C pistol, early WWII with high polish finish, Eagle/N acceptance, matching slide, finger extension magazine, and original capture paper calling this pistol out by serial number. Standard configuration pistol with fixed front and rear sights. Loaded indicator present. Usual Walther banner followed by manufacturer, model, and caliber on left side of slide. Eagle/N proofs on exposed barrel boss and right side of slide. The left side of frame stamped Eagle/C. The full serial number appears on the right side of the frame with the last three digits coarsely scribed inside the slide. The matte finished magazine with 6 indicator holes, has the Walther banner on the left side, and fitted with the brown mottled finger extension. Original capture paper dated October 10, 1945.
Condition:
Near excellent original finish with slight muzzle wear and minor spotting as one might expect from a police pistol that has been carried in holster. No significant thinning of front strap. Comparable condition grips with minimal bowing. Tiny crack extending through reinforcement above left escutcheon and superficial marring of left panel near tang. Comparable condition magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG/EXC capture papers. A very nice, all original, no excuse, Nazi police pistol from WWII with capture papers.
