Beautiful, Original Finish and All-Matching, Swiss Bern 1882 Military Revolver with correct Holster and Shoulder Strap.
Description:
Standard mid-production Waffenfabrik Bern Model 1882 Revolver, deaccessioned P6x, chambered in 7.5mm, having a 6″ octagonal barrel with fixed front and notched rear sight. Waffenfabrik Bern logo on left side of frame under the full serial number 25716, the serial number or last few digits repeated on left side of barrel, cylinder, cylinder axle, ejector rod, hammer, loading gate, and trigger. Separate assembly numbers on various parts most notably ‘456’. Smooth wood fluted grips. Single transverse screw. Lanyard ring present. Complete with correct leather holster dated “18” with unmarked shoulder strap.
Condition:
Excellent original rust blue retaining at least 97% coverage with minimal sharp edge wear, most thinning at butt of pistol around and involving lanyard ring. Comparable condition straw with no suggestion of enhancement. Crisp grips with few superficial handling marks, retaining most original varnish. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. Good holster with oil darkening and numerous scuffs, original stitching intact. A very attractive and high condition Swiss military 1882 military revolver with a mirror-bright bore, tight lock up, and a correct holster with strap.
