Original but thinned parkerized surfaces as one would expect from an early production carbine that saw years of military service, the stock with a scattering of light handling marks, no suggestion of refurbishment, the markings on the right side of the buttstock clearly delineated. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics, though magazine insertion/removal sticky, no issues with different magazine.
