This example, a 952-1, made in 2002 as reflected by the fired case seal, has the usual 5” barrel, drift adjustable front sight, and fully adjustable Wilson Combat rear sight. Left side of slide marked Performance Center suffixed by 9(mm)52. The full serial number is on the left side of the frame, exposed chamber marked with caliber and “Performance”. Performance Center seal and “952-1” on the right side of the frame. Major and most minor components are blued except the barrel that is in the white. Slab S&W checkered panels. In-the-white magazines, primary and spare, with eight indicator holes numbered 2-9, an orange/red follower, and a plastic polymer floorplate. Complete with factory literature, fired cartridge, and PC aluminum case.
