Description:

Gorgeous Colt Python Revolver, 6” Blue, made in 1977 with fixed front sight and fully adjustable rear sight. Model and caliber marked on the left side of the barrel; Colt address on the right side. Rampant Colt on sideplate. Matching serial number on frame and crane. Presently fitted with Pachmayr “Presentation Grip”, though correct checkered grips, each panel with gold Colt medallions, included with the revolver, no grip screw.

Condition:

Exc+, with just the faintest cylinder ring that does not break the finish, no muzzle wear. Faint cartridge head imprint on recoil shield. Comparable condition Pachmayr grips. The left panel of wood grips with several small dings at the bottom as photographed. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. A beautiful Python from 1977 with just enough wear to take to the range!
