Standard configuration M1906 M2 Luger with 4.75” barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed “V” notch rear sight. Deeply impressed Crown/M2 over chamber and intertwined DWM on middle toggle link. Encircled triangle, the Portuguese proof on left side of receiver and magazine plug. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with last two digits repeated on all appropriate parts. Unnumbered firing pin, hold open, and grips. Major components are rust blued; strawed parts include takedown lever, trigger, safety, extractor, and magazine release. Toggle pins and grip screws fire blued. Checkered walnut grips. Original magazine with bright body and wood base.
Condition:
Approximately 97% original blue with sharp edge wear in expected places. Strawed parts in comparable condition, no suggestion of touch up. The left grip panel has the usual small chip under the safety lever, glued back in place. Mirror bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. A very attractive, no excuse 1906 Portuguese M2 Luger, suitable to grace any collection!
