Standard configuration S&W .38 DA 3rd/4th model revolver, with usual patent reference on top of barrel rib, otherwise nickeled with blued trigger guard, unmarked with no serial number as correct for a factory cutaway. This example formerly in the collection of a Smith and Wesson executive. Wonderfully cutaway with multiple windows on the left side to show the latching/firing mechanism. No grips.
Condition:
Excellent, with scattered handling marks, as one would expect from a well handled factory demonstration piece after over 100 years. An extraordinarily rare revolver, well suited for the most advanced S&W collection.
