The Polish Eagle Radom was developed in 1935, and placed into production in 1936, with assembly continuing until the Germans invaded Poland in 1939 and took over the plant. By that time, approximately 50,000 pistols had been completed. This example, dated 1939, has standard features that include a fixed front sight, shallow rib, a drift adjustable rear sight. Locked breech, single action with decocker. Left slide of slide marked with manufacturer, production year, and patent reference. Full serial number on the right side of the frame with disassembly showing a matching numbered slide and barrel. Usual scattering of inspection markings. Major components rust blued; barrel in the white; grip screws and extractor fire blued. Correct magazine with encircled D/2 on toe.
Condition:
Bright, 99% original rust blue, with very light sharp edge wear. No significant wear on frontstrap. Excellent grips with screws retaining virtually all of their original fire blue. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics.An absolutely wonderful pistol that would be very difficult to upgrade. Your opportunity to buy the best!
