Description:
Standard early configuration HSc with matted sight channel and frame recessed for lanyard loop. Left side of slide with Mauser banner followed by two line address denoting manufacturer, model and caliber. Safety positions with “S” and dot. Left rear trigger guard web with Eagle/L. Right rear trigger guard with Eagle/N proof. Walnut panels with bordered checkering, each secured with a single screw, with hairline drying cracks. Magazines with in-the-white body having seven indicator holes and Mauser banner marked floorplate with round toe. Disassembly shows a matching barrel and a matching electropenciled slide numbered in the usual locations. Brown leather holster manufacturer marked Schambach & Co. and dated “1942/Berlin” under retaining strap. No inked markings under flap.
Condition:
Excellent+ and entirely original high polish blue with negligible wear as one might expect from an issued pistol that has barely been carried. More like issued and put away in a drawer! Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. Comparable condition magazines and holster. A gorgeous Mauser HSc, used by the German Police, a rig that would be virtually impossible to upgrade. If you want the very best, this would be it!
