Standard configuration pistol but with 9” barrel. Left frame has the Walther address, complete with banner, to which was added “N 4002” reflecting Naval issue. Right side of barrel and receiver with additional Crown/B/U/S acceptances. Checkered wood panels. At bottom of frame is rotatable lanyard ring.

Highly desirable and very scarce Walther single barrel flare pistol with steel frame marked “N 4002”.
Condition:
VG-EXC original finish with slight fading and scattered flecks of oxidation, most noticeable on barrel and backstrap. Hammer retains over 95% bright original fire blue. Most of the fire blue on the trigger has faded in areas of contact. Excellent grips with few scattered impressions. Bright bore with minor etching. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the scarcest variations of the single barrel Walther flare pistol, very seldom offered for sale. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
